Olive Ridley

This photo was taken at a beautiful place called Majahuas, located on the coast of the Mexican state of Jalisco. The local community runs a turtle conservation project since the 70′s. Majahuas is a remote place and that’s why it is so pristine. I visited the camp at the end of the nesting season when eggs start to hatch, this little hatchling was minutes away from being released into the ocean.
